The Arts Society Blackheath

CELEBRATING THE ARTS

Welcome to the website of The Arts Society Blackheath (TASB)

We are a friendly voluntary organisation established in 1980 which works to promote and preserve the arts in the south-east London area around Blackheath. TASB is also a constituent member of The Arts Society, a national charity previously known as NADFAS

Our core activity is a monthly (except August and December) talk by an expert on an arts subject, but we do a lot more besides.

If you want the Blackheath Art Society, established in 1947 for local visual artists exhibiting their artwork in Blackheath and surrounding areas, please click here.

CHANGE OF VENUE

In 2026 we have been forced by circumstances to use four different venues. Present intentions are to be at St Michael's Church for October and November 2026, and at Morden College from January 2027. Please check on website for confirmation. The Newsletter normally goes out on the Saurday before each meeting, and will contain details.
